Basketball turns to their district schedule in this week's action, as the race for the district title is heating up. Their are always front runners when you turn to the action, however, we will have to wait until district starts to see who they are on the boys' side.

In Soccer, two teams have set themselves apart from the action in both boys and girls action. In the boys, South Terrebonne and Central Lafourche look to be the front runners as they are the two undefeated teams in district play. Central Lafourche will host South Terrebonne Friday night at 7:00. This will be one of the most entertaining games of the season. The surprise on the boys side is Thibodaux. Thibodaux soccer program has started heading in the right direction as they have posted close losses with Central Lafourche and South Terrebonne, after having big losses to these teams in years past.

In girls action, Terrebonne and Central Lafourche seem to be battling it out for the district title. These programs seem to compete year after year with each other, and this year is no different. Last year the scores of there games were 1-0, 0-0 (4-2 Pks) in favor of Terrebonne both times. Look forward to seeing that good match up once again.
