NSU Women's Basketball to host Summer Camps The Nicholls State University women's basketball program will host several camps this summer in Stopher Gymnasium. They include a FUN-damentals day camp (June 12-15), skills camp (June 19-21) and team camp (July 22-24). The day camp, which is for girls entering second through fifth grades, will be held daily from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., while the skills camp is for girls entering fifth through 11th grades. The skills camp is an overnight camp. The team camp will offer participants the opportunity to play in at least six games with certified officials. A situational tournament will be played with awards given to the top teams. The cost for the day camp is $110. For the skills camp, the cost is $125. The cost to attend the varsity team camp is $310. An overnight package including meals is available upon request for $60 per player. Everyone who attends the camps will receive a T-shirt and instruction from the Lady Colonels' coaching staff and players. A confirmation letter with detailed information concerning check-in times and the medical form will be sent when your application is received.
