Joe Plunkett, RN, CCRN at Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) has been named nurse director of 3 North-the Medical/Surgical and Oncology floor and the Skilled Nursing Facility.

Joe has been part of the TGMC team for 16 years and has 25 years of nursing experience in the hospital setting.  Through his years of employment, he has contributed his expertise in nursing to many different departments at TGMC that include the Critical Care Unit, the position of Director of 4 South-Telemetry, the position of Nursing Supervisor and he also worked as a float nurse. 

Joe received his registered nursing degree from Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama. 

He regularly participates in continuing education classes to increase his knowledge, skills and education in nursing, and is certified in critical care nursing, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
