Nicholls State University is offering numerous youth activities over the summer months. They include:
Academic Enrichment Program (youth entering kindergarten through sixth grades)
June 5 to July 14 (Monday through Friday), 8:30 to 11:50 a.m.
Cost: $175
Art Classes
Session I: ages 6 to 8, June 19 to 23, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Session II: ages 9 to 12, June 19 to 23, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Session III: ages 9 to 12, June 26 to 30, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Session IV: ages 6 to 8, June 26 to 30, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Cost: $85 per session (registration deadline two weeks prior to first day of camp)
Chip Durham Baseball Day Camp (boys entering kindergarten through ninth grades)
June 8, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: $100 (includes daily lunch and T-shirt)
J.P. Piper’s Boys Basketball Day Camp (boys ages entering second through eighth grades)
June 5 to 8, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $140 (includes T-shirt and ball)
Mark Cook’s Girls FUN-damentals Basketball Day Camp (girls entering second through fifth grades)
June 12 to 15, 9 a.m. to noon
Cost: $110 (includes camp T-shirt)

Designed to accommodate childcare needed before and after the Academic Enrichment Program and before Sports and Activities Camps.

Early Drop-Off Program: includes breakfast, activities and escort to camp, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Swimming Lessons (ages 5 to 16)
Semi-private lessons of 35 minutes limited to three children per section. Swim tests will be administered to determine skill level.

Cost: $125 per session (includes test day and six lessons)
Television Workshop (ages 8 to 16)
July 31 to Aug. 4, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
