Morgan City – Radio Station KBZE 105.9FM has launched a pod-casting website, www.breezebytes.com, which will feature the best of KBZE 105.9FM’s local and sports programming, in downloadable mp3 formats.
“Our features include the keynote address delivered by Bishop Darryl S. Brister, at the 2006 Terrebonne Parish Chapter of the NAACP’s salute to Dr. Martin Luther King, along with the entire 2005 Southland Conference Championship Game, where the Nicholls Colonels clinched their first-ever Southland Conference win with a 39-26 victory over McNesse State
at John L. Guidry Stadium in Thibodaux,” Howard Castay said. He is president and general manager of KBZE.
“For someone to listen to the programming on this site, all they have to do is click the message as indicated; then, they will be able to hear the message on their computer,” Castay said.
“They will also be able to download the message and save it on the hard drive, to either later burn it on a cd, or transfer it to an mp3 player,” Castay said. “And best of all, it’s free…This is just another way KBZE is reaching out to its listeners,” Castay said.
Also, Castay said the station is planning to feature the daily “Kingdom First Ministries’,”
Broadcasts, featuring Elder Herbert Andrew, pastor of Beacon Light Baptist Church of Houma, Louisiana, along with “The Jerome Boykin Show,” which the station broadcasts live at Noon on Fridays, from its Houma sales and promotional office on West Tunnel Blvd.
“We’re also looking forward to September, as we plan to load every Nicholls State
Colonel football game on the site, through their 2006 season,” Castay said.
