Edison J. Foret, MD
Edison J. Foret, MD, Obstetrician and Gynecologist has been appointed to the active medical staff 
at Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC).
“We are pleased to have Dr. Foret as a member of our medical staff,” said Phyllis Peoples, President and Chief Executive Officer at TGMC. “His knowledge will be very valuable as we prepare to expand our women’s service capabilities to meet the needs of the women in our community.”
Dr. Foret received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Nicholls State University. He completed his doctorate of medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and his residency at the University of Florida School OB/GYN in Pensacola, Florida.
Dr. Foret is looking forward to providing women’s health care services and being a part of the medical community here in Houma and the surrounding areas. “I am happy to be back in the area of the country where I grew up and where the people are very welcoming,” said Dr. Foret.
Dr. Foret is married to Dr. Regina Conrad, a pediatrician. He and his family will reside in Houma.
Vinod M. Nair, MD
Vinod M. Nair, MD, Cardiologist, has been appointed to the active medical staff at Terrebonne 
General Medical Center (TGMC).
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Nair to our medical staff,” said Phyllis Peoples, President and Chief Executive Officer at TGMC. “His extensive background in cardiology will be an asset to our team of physicians and to the people in our community.”
Dr. Nair completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Mamonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He also completed a cardiology fellowship at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and a residency in Internal Medicine at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in Bronx, New York. He is board Certified in
Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology.
He also completed a rotating internship and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at M.S. Ramaiah Medical Teaching Hospital, in Bangalore, India.
Dr. Nair looks forward to being an active member of the medical community and to providing cardiac care for the people in Houma and the surrounding areas.
He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology, and his professional associations include the American Heart Association, American Medical Association and he is a Board of Trustee, at AHA San Angelo Chapter.
Dr. Nair, and his family reside in Houma.
